Hello Lauren,
Thanks so much for your question. Bioidentical hormones are better than synthetic hormones. The great appeal of bioidentical hormones is that they are natural, and our bodies can metabolize them as it was designed to do, minimizing side effects. More and more research is concluding that bioidenitcal hormones are safe and are not causing breast cancer. I would suggest that go to John Lees' web site. He has a book that may help you..What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Breast Cancer:How Hormone Balance Can Help Save Your Life <a href="http://johnleemd.com" rel="nofollow"> I'm sure you can pick up some valuable information about blood clot risks on this site or in his books. Hope this has been helpful!

can you please tell me if there is any risk using bioidentical estradiol/estriol cream regarding breast cancer or blood clots? There are conflicting articles on this. I realize a substantial risk w/ synthhetics, but what about the bioidenticals? Is still there still come risk of blood clots, etc. if used for a short period of time? (I am 56 and have been using them for 1 year)

Thankyou!! for a rapid response.
