What Works for Cellulite in the 21st Century

I really know about this topic! I went on a quest to find a cellulite product that would really work and the good news is…I found it! The compelling thing is that I had to create my own cellulite formula, CelluliteRx. So the product I found is my own!
After hours and hours of research learning what causes cellulite in women and trying so many different products, I realized that there were some key factors missing that, if included, just may help my body look younger, sexier and more beautiful.
What I discovered is that cellulite is a condition linked to excess estrogen in the layers of the skin in women that promotes fat storage and causes break down of connective tissue. That is why very few men have cellulite and why cellulite first appears in females during times of intense hormonal shifts such as pregnancy, peri-menopause and menopause.
The process happens like this:
- swollen fat cells due to estrogen start a cascade of biological events that inhibits circulation;
- less circulation (blood flow) slows down the removal of cellular wastes or toxins resulting in inflammation in the area;
- structural changes in subcutaneous fat tissue and the surrounding matrix of collagen fibers stiffen causing dimpling (orange peel skin) in the dermis and epidermis.
Key FACTOR #1: How could I combat estrogen dominance in the first place?
I formulated my product with a woman’s harmonizing botanical ingredient, Mexican Wild Yam Extract, that has been used for centuries by Aztec and Mayan women to help with women’s health issues. Wild yam extract, dioscorea villosa, is a phytoprogesterone that counters the fat storage and collagen destruction in the skin due to estrogen.
Key FACTOR #2: How can I stimulate blood flow in the area to aid in preventing inflammation?
I found a rare form of niacin (Vitamin B 3) that when applied topically creates a vasodilation response enlarging capillaries so more blood can pass through. When you apply my product, you can actually see your skin turn red because the vessels are expanding with more nutrient rich blood flowing through them. Many women report feeling a sense of warmth as the product penetrates and stimulates cellular metabolism.
Key FACTOR #3: How can I get the active ingredients to penetrate to the lower layers of the skin where cellulite forms?
One thing that was very apparent from my trying products is that cellulite cannot be treated unless the product’s active ingredients penetrate to the lower layers of the skin where cellulite forms. I learned that technology has come a long way since the early days of cosmetic formulating. Fortunately I discovered a lab that specializes in skin care delivery systems that are clinically proven to promote better topical penetration of a product’s ingredients. I contracted with this lab to manufacture my product because they were working with the most advanced technology on the planet to get actives to the right places.
Key FACTOR #4: How can the body’s own wisdom be encouraged to deal with cellulite?
My philosophy is that the body is smart. In times of imbalance it just needs a little help. CelluliteRx treats women based on how cellular systems work.
